Dear Nessa,

I just want to thank you for allowing the Class of 1965 to have the most wonderful
reunion ever.  I was pleasantly surprised to discover such a lovely setting.  It certainly 
was not what I expected to find in dear old Collinsville.  I had heard good things about your events but I was unprepared for such a first class presentation.  The decor was so elegant, the food absolutely delicious and service was first class.  I even loved the cooked carrots!!!

Most of all, I want to thank you for bringing life back into my home town.  I can't tell you how depressed I was every time I came home and drove down the main street of town.  I could see a part of my past disappearing with every visit.

My friend and I also enjoyed visiting A Time 2 Sew and experiencing being locked in the old jail cell.  What a surprise to find a picture of my favorite aunt and uncle displayed on your wall and to learn that this was the spot they had the grocery store I had always heard about.

Again, thank you for loving my town like I did and bringing some life back into it.  I wish you much success in your ventures and I will be watching as Collinsville comes back to life again.  My husband's family has a large reunion each year and I will be recommending that they contact you to host the event next year.

By way of Recommendation:

In November of last year, we visited family members in Collinsville.  I was surprised and somewhat dubious of their plan to have our traditional Thanksgiving dinner at Nessa's instead of their home.  I envisioned having dinner in a restaurant type atmosphere and was less than pleased at the thought.  Instead, we found ourselves in a facility that looked and felt like an elegant home; we were greeted by the wonderful aroma of pies and turkey which were arranged on the bureau along with homemade yeast rolls and cherry cobbler.  Christmas decorations further enhanced the rooms in which the tables were set with china plates and goblets on linen tablecloths.

Our family had one of our most memorable and enjoyable Thanksgivings at Nessa's.  She and her staff made each of us feel as if we were a welcome guest in her own home.  The food was beautifully presented and was exceptionally good.

She has my unqualified recommendation for any entertaining need.

It is my pleasure to write this letter of reference for Vanessa Chambers and her catering business.  Our extended day program - Collinsville Community Learning Centers - made use of her facility and services for our back to school staff training.  She provided all the meeting room set up, morning and afternoon snacks, and a full sit down lunch.  I am still hearing compliments on both the service and the food.

As librarian at Collinsville Public Library I have been a guest in meeting at our library that she has catered.  Collinsville Baptist Church utilized her as meal planner and chef for their Wednesday night meals and I sampled her cooking several times at that location.

There are many people who advertise catering services - her professionalism sets Vanessa apart from the crowd.  I plan to use her services again.
