I can't tell you how depressed I was every time I came home and drove down the main street of town. I could see a part of my past disappearing with every visit. My friend and I also enjoyed visiting A Time 2 Sew and experiencing being locked in the old jail cell. What a surprise to find a picture of my favorite aunt and uncle displayed on your wall and to learn that this was the spot they had the grocery store I had always heard about. Again, thank you for loving my town like I did and bringing some life back into it. I wish you much success in your ventures and I will be watching as Collinsville comes back to life again. DeKalb luncheon to honor our mentors in DeKalb County Schools. Mrs. Velma L. Brown February 28, 2006 By way of Recommendation: In November of last year, we visited family
members in Collinsville. I was surprised and somewhat dubious of
their plan to have our traditional Thanksgiving dinner at Nessa's instead
of their home. I envisioned having dinner in a restaurant type
atmosphere and was less than pleased at the thought. Instead, we
found ourselves in a facility that looked and felt like an elegant home;
we were greeted by the wonderful aroma of pies and turkey which were
arranged on the bureau along with homemade yeast rolls and cherry
cobbler. Christmas decorations further enhanced the rooms in which
the tables were set with china plates and goblets on linen tablecloths. Toni Lopez December 30, 2005 It is with great pleasure that I recommend Vanessa Chambers and Nessa’s Catering. The Town of Collinsville hosted its annual Christmas Party at Nessa’s and had a most enjoyable evening. The dinner and appetizers were wonderful and the tables were set in festive holiday fashion, reminiscent of a time long past. The atmosphere at Nessa’s is elegant and inviting and both her food and her staff are excellent. Each event is tailor made, and nothing is left undone. Vanessa has always displayed a high degree of
integrity, responsibility, and dependability. On behalf of the Town of
